Aim High

FRC 2006 Aim High

Object of the Game

Score balls into the three goals.

Aim High is played on a 54ft x 26ft field by 2 alliances consisting of 3 teams each.

The game is played with 3 goals on each side of the field, 2 at ground level and 1 raised. The game starts with a 10 second autonomous period where robots can use vision sensors to locate targets and shoot as many purple balls into them as possible. Which ever team scores the most gains an additional 10 points and they are placed as the defensive team for the next round of the game. After 40 seconds, the teams switch roles, now with the other team on defensive, and then, after yet another 40 seconds, both teams get the opportunity to score points as well as defend. At the end of the game, teams must scramble to get on their team platforms to earn end game points.
